MIL-DTL-8777/MS 27110 to Production

Manchester, New Hampshire - 09/14/11:
RSCC Aerospace & Defense is now proudly offering military specification MIL-DTL-8777/MS27110. The wire joins previously released MS25471 as an available cable specification. Both serve a wide range of industries and applications, providing outstanding flexibility and performance. While primarily used in airframe applications, the new wire should be considered for many avionics, military vehicle, shipboard, missile and other electronic applications.

RSCC Aerospace & Defense is one of few manufacturers with the capabilities and expertise to produce this wire, leading the industry through performance and innovation for demanding applications. Featuring outstanding resistance to cut-through, abrasion, cold flow, shrink-back, notch propagation and common military chemicals, like MS25471, the specification will also excel where high density cabling and harnessing are required for tight bends while providing protection from fluids and reduced fraying.

MIL-DTL-8777 features a soft annealed silver coated copper conductor, granting good solder ability and performance in higher temperature applications. The insulation is a flame retardant Silicone rubber offering outstanding high and low temperature characteristics. With MS27110, a braided, extruded Fluoropolymer jacket is now available.

RSCC Aerospace & Defense is fully equipped to manufacture this additional specification and is prepared to offer technical support to help tailor the materials and constructions to meet our customers' performance requirements.

The addition underlines RSCC's keenness for innovation and performance.
